Puppy is sold with AKC non-breeding papers. Total Purchase Price of the Puppy: ________________

This puppy is guaranteed to be in the health at the time of sale to the best of the seller's knowledge. If he/she wishes, the buyer has 48 hours from the date of ownership in which to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE RECTIFIED, you may return the puppy to us, at your expense, the day following the vet examination, along with a veterinarian's statement outlining the problem. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the puppy (less any shipping fees: you will not be reimbursed for shipping fees). Exclusion: This does not include any presence  of parasites. It also does not apply to a health problem resulting from an injury or accident due to your negligence. The following provisions will be honored. All medical and veterinary bills and expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyers Initials ___________

Viral, bacterial, colds, or infections such as coccidia or giardia (bloody stools) are a form of worms which are easily treated and are NOT covered in the health warranty as they are natural things a puppy can pick up. These are common treatable conditions in puppies and dogs that are raised with outdoor access (although your puppy will not get outdoor access until their first set of vaccinations, which will occur once they are 6 weeks old) and I am aware that my puppy could easily contract such an issue on the trip home or at my own residence. This puppy has recently been dewormed and the shedding of parasites may still be occurring and is normal after treatment. Healthy vaccinated puppies are still susceptible to contagious disease, parasites, protozoa, although every effort has been made to prevent this unfortunate occurrence (these puppies have been seen by a vet at 3 days old to have their tails docked and dew claws removed, they will also have their vaccinations administered by a licensed vet before they go home with you. Puppies are naturally at risk for coccidia, giardia, or worms, which    is often brought on by the stress of weaning, a new home, new food, new people, or just a change in the environment. You need to be aware that these things can arise and that they are usually not serious (even though seeing blood in a stool could appear serious) and are easily treated and we will not cover the treatment for them. All medical and veterinary bills and expenses are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyers Initials ___________

I agree to be a responsible pet owner and spay/neuter at an appropriate age BEFORE bad behavior develops, typically between 9-12 months old.

REBATE:

Upon providing documentation from a licensed veterinarian that your dog has been spayed or neutered 9 to 12 months of age (the documentation has to be provided before the dog reaches 1 year of age: (on or before: 6/30/20), a $50.00 refund will be given back to the buyer. In addition, because we recognize that there are a lot of unwanted dogs in pounds, shelters, and rescues, we will provide a $50 contribution to a local rescue to support the dogs who are in a shelter and seeking a permanent home.

I will not receive a refund in the event that I simply change my mind regarding this purchase, find a cheaper puppy, suddenly develop allergies, or my landlord disagrees with my purchase. Adding a new puppy to my home can be a 10-15 year commitment, therefore, I have invested a considerable amount of thought into my decision BEFORE making a commitment to purchase. Life changing events can happen and should I be unable to keep my puppy at any time in his/her life I WILL contact the breeder/seller for arrangements to return or gain assistance in rehoming my puppy and will never forfeit ownership to a pound, rescue, or shelter. At No Time Will the Breeder Buy Back Your Puppy.

Breeder/Seller will not be responsible for injury or accident to a puppy, or cost for repair, once he/she leaves breeders care. In addition, no guarantee will be provided for eye color, ear set, size, or working, or train ability.

Guarantees:

If these terms and conditions are not followed, then the warranty is void and you will not receive another puppy, if your puppy has problems.

This one year warranty covers the replacement of the puppy. The warranty covers this puppy to be free of genetic defects until the puppy reaches 1 year of age. If the puppy is found to have a genetic defect, it will be replaced with a puppy from the first available litter or the full refund of the puppy (this is up to the seller's discretion). The puppy replaced will be the same kind, like, and quality.  Buyer is responsible for the shipping costs of a puppy. Seller is NOT responsible for any vet bills. Health testing are the responsibility of the buyer. It is the buyers responsibility to keep the puppy from unhealthy environments until it has had the full vaccination regiment. ALL DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PROVIDED, NO EXCEPTIONS!

We devote a lot of time, energy, and money to produce the very best puppy possible. We hope you understand that as hard as breeders try to breed without problems, we are dealing with leaving, breathing animals.

Parvo and Hour Guarantee:

Please know and understand that it is very important to keep your puppy away from public or high traffic areas until he/she has had their full vaccination regiment; they are susceptible to picking up illnesses including parvo until they've received all of their vaccinations.

Parvo Symptoms:

Parvo was discovered in the 1970's, and in two years, the virus spread worldwide. Dogs that develop parvo will show symptoms 3-10 days after being exposed. Symptoms include: vomiting, lethargy, diarrhea (usually bloody), and fever.

How is Parvo Contracted:

We do not let our dogs outside (not mama dog or puppies and she is separated in the house away from our male dog). We want you to have this information so you understand why we have this stipulation in the contract.

Contracting Parvo from Fecal Matter

The most common way a dog catches the serious virus is by interaction with an infected dog’s fecal matter (poop). This can be a disturbing thought given the amount of humans that don’t pick up after their dog has had a bowel movement. Think of how many time you have seen dog feces at the park and just walked around it. Well dogs are naturally curious creatures and may not avoid the mess but rather unknowingly approach an infected pile. If your pet ingests even a tiny particle of the virus they can be infected.

To help your dog not contract Parvo from another dog’s feces try to keep a watchful eye when going for a walk, going to the park, or even playing in your own backyard. Keep away from all fecal matter found. When dealing with such a serious disease it’s best to play it safe. The Parvo virus can live outside the body for up to five months so don’t underestimate fecal matter that appears to have sat for a long while.

Human Contraction

Even though humans themselves can’t get the disease it doesn’t mean that they can’t unknowingly spread it to a dog. The virus can be carried on their person and transmitted to a pet. If a human has any interaction with fecal matter or a place fecal matter once was they can pick up the virus. An example of this is if a dog had a bowel movement in the park and the owner properly cleaned it up, the spot may still be infected. Currently no known disinfectants can rid a surface of the virus. Meaning that even if you use a bag to pick up feces and immediately use disinfectant the virus still can’t be killed. This is a scary thought since no matter how much we clean and try to be sanitary it can still be unknowingly spread to a pet. The same also applies when a dog goes the bathroom on grass, dirt, a tree, etc. We have no way of knowing what pet previously used that spot.

Vaccinating your pet provides the best protection currently possible. On top of vaccinations, being knowledgeable about the disease and doing your best to avoid it are all that you can do to help your dog live a long Parvo free life. Please note it is especially important to try to thoroughly clean up after a dog that has Parvo. You can also try

I offer a  72 hour guarantee that covers parvo. No replacement puppy will be given for a puppy that comes down with parvo after the 72 hours. Unless all other puppies in the same litter on the breeder's premises also come down with parvo.  If this happens, seller will extend guarantee for parvo to 10 days after the puppy has been released for a replacement puppy or full refund (which is up to the seller's discretion). We will require proof of a positive parvo test and that the puppy did not recover from the virus from a licensed vet. All veterinarian costs are the buyers responsibility.

We do not guarantee temperament, as, upbringing, care, and training is in the hands of the new owner. We recommend  attending an obedience class and encourage socialization.
